CATECHISM

One day The Lord came to me and asking:

“Son, do you know Who your creator is?”
I replied: “The Bible says: ‘For by Him all things were created. Things in heaven and on earth; visible and invisible; whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities. All things were created by Him and for Him. He is before all things. And in Him all things hold together.’”

“So, how can you express yourself about ‘HIM?’”
“You are worthy our Lord and God to receive glory and honor and power. For you created all things. And by your will they were created and have their being.”

“Do you love your God?”
“I do. Since the Bible says: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’”

“But how can you love your God, God is perfect. God is in the most high. He is holy. You are an imperfect being. You cannot love Him. You’re a sinner.”
“The Bible says: ‘For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son. That whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.’”

“That’s good. But you’re still a sinner. You always commit a sin. Will I forgive you?”
“The Bible says: ‘If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just, and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.’”

“Having quoted verses from Bible, you are seemingly showing off your pride, indicating that you’re a clever person by answering My questions that way.”
“Forgive me Lord for I steal your glory that should be revealed through me. I do not deserve that . It is my flesh’s will stealing your glory. It is always be my weakness, but, The Bible says again: ‘My grace is sufficient for you. For My power is made perfect in weakness.’”

“Once again. I love you. Do you love me?”
“I do love you, Lord.”

“How can you show your love to me?”
“The Bible says: ‘This is love for God: to obey His commands. And His commands are not burdensome.’”

“Good. You will do it for the rest of your life. Do you remember what reward I will give you?”
“The Bible says: ‘Whoever has My commands and obeys them is the one who loves Me. He who loves Me will be loved by My Father. And I too will love him and show Myself to him.’”
